Just got back from the Annual WFG convention in Las Vegas this past week, and was so inspired. Here are my top takeaways:
1. We are not just in the business of financial services, we are in the business of:
-Transformations
-Building leaders
-Creating legacies
-and start with a clear purpose
2. Leading with purpose means every step we take, no matter how small, is aligned with a bigger vision
3. You can have success or excuses, not both
4. Think BIG, turn your annual income into your monthly income
-Stay excited when things are not exciting
-Your lowest point is the doorway to the highest self
5. If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough
-come up with Pain and Pleasure list
-Pain: things that I am sick and tired of
-Pleasure: Things i want to do if time and money is not an issue.
6. Dont be a Linear thinker, but be an Exponential Visionary
-Understand exponential growth
-Focus on compounding effect
7. If you want to increase your pocket, you must increase your financial literacy
8. If you have the willingness to do things that others not willing to do, then you can live lives that others not able to live
9. You do not decide on your future, but you can decide on your habit, and your habit can decide on your future. When learning becomes a habit, success becomes effortless
10. You do not rise to the level of your goals but fall to the level of your systems
11. Life is not about finding yourself but developing yourself
12. Focus fool can achieve way more than a distracted genius
13. Even you can’t change:
-The distance you must travel
-The terrain you must cross
-The weight you must carry;
But you can change:
-The way you carry it
14. When time gets tough, just stay for 1 more day, call your mentor 1 more time.
