My Story

Hello, I’m Sophie Hung, a registered dietitian and personal trainer. Over the past 13 years, I’ve helped thousands of Asian professionals and their parents reverse type 2 diabetes, lower cholesterol, manage chronic kidney disease, and improve gut health.
As an immigrant from Hong Kong, I understand the unique cultural and lifestyle challenges faced by the Asian community. My near death experiences from a car accident at 16 and witnessing my family’s struggles with diabetes, high cholesterol, and stroke, motivated me to pursue a career in nutrition and fitness to make a difference in people’s lives.
Today, my mission is to empower individuals with chronic conditions to thrive, not just survive, so they can continue traveling, spending time with family, and enjoying life. For example, my 82-year-old father was able to reverse his diabetes and cholesterol, and now stays active with daily swimming, strength training, lawn bowling, and hiking and kayaking on family trips.
